According To The Scriptures: 
 

  ETERNAL SECURITY: YES OR NO? 

 
The most God-dishonoring doctrine is the doctrine that a child of God can so sin as to be lost (that God can lose His children). No other creature that is born or hatched ceases to remain what it is born; i.e., human, snake, buzzard, skunk, pig, etc. Yet false religions teach that God's born-again children (those born of God) can sin and be lost. Is this true? Let the Scriptures speak! 

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Phil. 1:6).

 

PROMISE MADE BY GOD THE FATHER TO BELIEVERS: 
 
"He that believeth on the Son of God hath [present tense] the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son [present tense] hath life [present tense]; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life" (I John 5:10-12).
 
WHAT DID PAUL TEACH (HOLY GHOST INSPIRED)? 
"There is therefore now [present tense] no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus..." (Rom. 8:1).

(ABSOLUTELY NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD!) 

(Read Rom. 8:35-39) 

"...ye were sealed [past tense] with that holy Spirit of promise..." (Eph. 1:13-14). 

"...ye are sealed [present tense] unto the day of redemption" (Eph. 4:30). 

"Who hath delivered [past tense] us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [past tense] us into the kingdom of his dear Son" (Col. 1:13). 

"...Jesus, which delivered [past tense] us from the wrath to come" (I Thess. 1:10).

"...he is able to keep that which I have committed [past tense] unto him against that day" (II Tim. 1:12).

"For we which have believed do enter into rest..." (Heb. 4:3). 

"...For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified" (Heb. 10:12-14).

(PERFECTED FOREVER! PRAISE GOD! AMEN!) 

 

 

"...but of them that believe to the saving of the soul" (Heb. 10:39). 

"We know that we have passed [present tense] from death unto life, because we love the brethren..." (I John 3:14).
 
"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world..." (I John 5:4). 
 
"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life..." (I John 5:13). 
 
"We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not..." (I John 5:18).
 
"...kept by the power of God..." (I Pet. 1:5). 
 
"...sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ..." (Jude 1:1). 
 
"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." (Jude 1:24-25).
 
 NOW WHO DO YOU BELIEVE: 
 
GOD'S WORD OR FALSE PROPHETS?
 
REMEMBER: "...he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son..." (I John 5:10-12).
 
Those "born of God" are God's children. Why will false teachers refuse to give God the glory that belongs to Him by wrongly teaching that God is the only One that can lose His children?

  "The gift of God is eternal life" (Rom. 6:23).
