According To The Scriptures:

IS GOD A TRINITY?

The word "God" is not a name -- it is a title. The Triune God consists of three personalities. If the Holy Trinity had desired, they could have consisted of many personalities and still be one God.

WHERE IS GOD THE FATHER CALLED GOD?

"Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed" (John 6:27).

"Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied" (I Peter 1:2).
WHERE IS THE HOLY SPIRIT CALLED GOD?

"But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost...thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God" (Acts 5:3-4).

"Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit...differences of administrations, but the same Lord...diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all" (I Cor. 12:4-6).

WHERE IS JESUS THE SON CALLED GOD?

"In the beginning God [Jesus] created the heaven and the earth" (Gen. 1:1).

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made" (John 1:1-3).

God the Son was the only creator!

"And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God" (John 20:28).

"But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever..." (Heb. 1:8).

"Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen" (I Tim. 1:17).

"To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen" (Jude 1:25).
WHERE IS THE TRINITY MENTIONED?
"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness...So God created man in his own image..." (Gen. 1:26-27).

"...And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil..." (Gen. 3:21-23).

"Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech" (Gen. 11:7).

In these Scriptures, God refers to Himself as "us" and "our". How many do you have to have to refer to "us" and "our"? At least two but any number of people or beings could be included.
DOES GOD SPEAK OF MORE THAN ONE BEING "ONE"? YES.
"Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh" (Gen. 2:24).

"For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh...This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church" (Eph. 5:31).

How can they be "two" and at the same time be "one"? "This is a great mystery" (Eph. 5:32). I don't question God. If God says it, that settles it. God says:

"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him..." (Col. 2:8-10).
Will we ever in this life completely understand God? No. Neither do I understand how a person breathes life into his body, but I am not going to refuse to breathe until I know the answer. This I do know about God:
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God [Jesus] was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory" (I Tim. 3:16).
Of course, this is speaking of Jesus (God the Son -- the Creator).
"Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them" (Heb. 7:25).

"And I [Jesus] will pray the Father, and he [God the Father] shall give you another Comforter [Holy Spirit], that he may abide with you for ever" (John 14:16).
When a person just says "God", he could be speaking about any one or any thing. But when you say, "Heavenly Father" or "Lord Jesus" or "Holy Spirit", you identify to whom you speak. When you call upon the name of Jesus, you go directly to God the Father:
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6).
