According To The Scriptures:

SIN STOPS HERE

You have probably heard the phrase, "The buck stops here!" The fact is, sin stops at the point of faith, belief, or trust. Jesus said, "He that believeth on him is not condemned [present tense]..." (John 3:18). Jesus also taught that the believer "...shall not come into condemnation [future tense]..." (John 5:24). As plain as these doctrines are ("is not condemned" and "shall not come into condemnation"), why will people listen to the devil's preachers teach that a believer is condemned until baptized?

"He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day" (John 12:48).

If a church doctrine cannot be found in the New Testament, it is not of God.

"Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is [present tense] born of God..." (I John 5:1).

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life" (John 6:47).
Doesn't that sound like the teaching of the Lord's churches that have been given heaven's authority to baptize? When the question was asked, "What must I do to be saved?" (Acts 16:30), the answer was "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house" (Acts 16:31).

When explaining the gospel and the power of God, the Holy Spirit inspired Paul to write, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek" (Rom. 1:16). What is required in order to receive the power of God unto salvation? Believe!

"Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus" (Rom. 3:25-26).
What is required in order to be justified? Believe in Jesus!
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" (Rom. 5:1).
We "have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand" (Rom. 5:2).

We get the blood at faith.
"Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him" (Rom. 5:9).
We are with the Lord at baptism.
"Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death..." (Rom. 6:4).
We are together when baptized.
"For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection..." (Rom. 6:5).

"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins" (Acts 10:43).

NOTICE: All the prophets give witness to this fact, so those who believe that remission of sins comes at belief in Jesus are in agreement with the prophets. Amen!

"While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord..." (Acts 10:44-48).

Before the household of Cornelius was baptized:

"We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God [Jesus] keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not" (I John 5:18).

SUMMARY

BEFORE BAPTISM, the believer:

The believer has all this and much more -- all without being baptized! This is God's Word. Please don't let false teachers cause you to spend eternity in hell.

"And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work" (Rom. 11:6).

Come to Jesus, trusting His blood by faith. May God bless you all!
